Federal, State governments are seeing the importance of providing students easy access to 3D Printing and with the support of the community are creating grants and funding options to make it a realistic prospect to integrate 3D printers in our classrooms than ever before.

MakerSpace Maker provide free advice on setting up a maker space including help with available grants and grant writing. There is specific funding available to schools for makerspaces

Corporate Sponsorship


STEAM education is so hot right now! Reach out to parents, you never know who works for a local company or corporate who would be interested sponsorship.

Seed3D.org works to connect large corporates with schools to provide a tangible 3D printing capability in each school by funding hardware, training and consumables for up to two years.
 

Crowd Funding

Crowdfunding campaigns are a great way to engage a community of supporters, build enthusiasm and most importantly the funds to launch your makerspace. There are lots of great crowd-funding platforms out there available to schools.
Through Schools Plus, giving to schools is simple, effective and tax deductible.
Schools can raise funds for programs that give students the best chance of success. 
Pozible is an Australia-based crowdfunding platform and community-building tool for creative projects and ideas. It was developed to help people raise funds.
StartSomeGood is a crowdfunding platform exclusively for social change initiatives. We exist to help social entrepreneurs, non-profits and community groups to raise the funds they need to make a difference.
Chuffed is specifically for non-profit and social enterprise fundraising and is a crowd funding platform allow for as little or as much support as you like.
